Our classes are fun and affordable, so sign up for one today!

Classes fill up fast, so prepayment for classes is required within 48 hours of reserving a space in order to hold your spot for you. When you reserve a space, an invoice will be emailed to you and payment can be made safely and easily through PayPal. Cancellation of a paid class reservation must be made 72 hours before the class starts in order to receive a refund.

2 ½ hour class, No pattern needed, we’ll learn to make this sassy blouse perfect to pair with jeans, skirts and even shorts. Make it short sleeve or long, and Linda we’ll even show you how to add an extra casing with elastic to make it into an empire waist top. Supplies: 2 ½ yd. cotton fabric, 1 matching spool of thread and 1 yd. ¼” wide elastic. Fee: $30

2 hour class, Learn how to install zippers 3 different ways. In this class you’ll learn how to put in a center back zipper, lap zipper and invisible zipper. You’ll also learn how to shorten a zipper as well. Supplies: 2 – 16” all purpose zippers, 1 – 12” invisible zipper. Note: If you are bringing your own sewing machine to class, please make sure you have a regular and invisible zipper foot. Fee: $26

3 hour class, Learn to make this cutie Craft-O-Rama pattern and take home instructions to make many more! This is a fat quarter friendly class. Supplies: 6 – ¼ yd. cotton fabric pieces, ½ yd. cotton fabric for lining, 1 matching spool of thread, 1 yd. fusible interfacing, and 1 magnetic snap. Fee: $36

2 ½ hour class, Create and adorn a purse with your own flair! In this class you will learn the technique of needle-felting to fuse a design into wool as embellishment to a bag that expresses your personal style. You will leave the class with a free Liza Mädchen pattern to use or restyle as you desire. Supplies: 1 ½ yards wool felt, 1 ½ yards fusible interfacing, 1 ½ yards coordinating fabric (for bag lining), 1 spool matching thread. We’ll supply a needle felting kit with lots of color options. 2-1/2 hour class, Let's make an A-line custom fit skirt with a flirty, twirly ruffled hem! You'll take home your pattern and instructions after class so you can make lots more! Supplies: 1-1/2 yd. cotton fabric, 1/2 yd. coordinating fabric, 1 matching spool of thread. Fee: $30

3 hour class, Inspired by Dianna Rupp’s “Sew Everything Workshop”, in this class we’ll make a breezy tank top that looks cute even over a t-shirt! Add pockets or a wrap belt if you wish. Take home instructions after class to make lots more! Supplies: 2 yds. cotton fabric, 1 matching spool of thread. Fee: $36

Mommie & Me Classes meet on Friday mornings and are designed for anyone, really, but most specifically for moms with kids. It's a time for moms and their mini-me's to learn and play and spend time together and with others. Moms do fun projects while their kiddos get crafty on the floor with free-form art activities! Classes range from one hour to two hours in consideration of kids' short attention spans. Join us for coffee, make friends, and learn how to make extraordinary things out of raw materials and ordinary objects.

*No previous sewing experience necessary. All classes will use basic sewing skills, but we will familiarize you with the machine and the concepts during class.

Pillow Case Skirt! Fri. 6/6 10am-11am - This can be for you or your little one! Bring your own pillowcase (a pretty old vintage pattern, or something more contemporary) and learn to whip up a new, funky skirt in no time. We will provide lots of embellishment options, including appliqués.

*Pillowcases usually come in pairs and measure 21" to 22" across. Measure your hips at the widest area below your waist. If your hips are larger than 38" you can opt to make a skirt for your little one, or bring two pillow cases, or come early to pick out some coordinating fabric. Fee: $15 + $5 materials

Deconstruction Junction! Fri. 6/13 9am-11am: Turn old pants into a cute new skirt! Bring a pair of jeans, corduroy, or khaki pants and give that fabric a facelift. Pants don't have to fit perfectly - we can easily size them down or expand them as needed. Fee: $15 + $3 materials

Story Boards! Fri. 6/20 10am-11am - Make your very own story board, just like they use in preschools and at story times! This story board will be based on the book Mouse Paint, which we will read together at the end of class.
Time: 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Fee: $15 + $10 materials

Hand Stitched Plush Pals: Fri. 5/16 10am-11am: Make a monster for you, a friend, or for your very own little monster! We will include a story time, theme of Monster Mania! Fee: $15 + $8 materials fee

Pillow Fight! Fri. 6/27 10am-11am: Does your couch look bored? Is your bed looking tired? Come make a decorative throw pillow to pick up the pizzazz. Add an appliqué or hand embroidery to give it a custom look. Fee: $15 + $8 materials fee

Decorative Fabric Fun! Fri. 5/30 10am-11am: Using ideas and fabric from Amy Butler and other top designers, create jewelry from your favorite fabric. The fun won't stop when you leave us - you'll be so inspired, nothing in your closet will be safe! Fee: $15 + $8 materials fee

Frenchy Bag: Sun. 5/18 3:00pm-5:30pm, Sun. 6/1 3:00pm-5:30pm, Wed. 7/2 6:30pm-9:00pm

2 ½ hour class, Come join us make this fabulous Amy Butler design using an Amy Butler commercial pattern. Pattern usage supplied by Craft-O-Rama. Supplies: 3/4yd. outer main fabric, 4/8 outer contrasting fabric, ¾ yd. lining fabric, 1 yd. medium weight fusible interfacing, 1 magnetic snap, and matching thread.

Get to Know Your Sewing Machine: Thurs. 5/29 6:30pm-8:30pm, Wed. 6/11 6:30pm-8:30pm, Tues. 7/1 6:30pm-8:30pm

2 hour class, Did you get a new sewing machine, or inherit an older one? Bring it in and learn how to use all those dials, set up stitches, basic operation, maintenance and trouble shooting. Supplies: 2 empty bobbins appropriate for your machine, your user manual if available, any tools that come with your machine and 1 spool of thread. Fee: $24

Quilting 101: Sun. 6/8 12:30pm-4:30pm, Sun. 6/29 12:30pm-4:30pm

4 hour class, Learn to quilt! In this class you’ll learn all the basics, using a rotary cutter, cutting board and rulers, piecing the quilt, basting the quilt, quilting, and binding. You’ll learn to make a finished wall hanging or table runner. Supplies: 2/3 yd. backing fabric, 1/3 yd. binding fabric, ¼ yd. of 5 different prints for the front, 1/2 yd. cotton batting, matching spool of cotton thread. We’ll supply the tools so you can try them out! Fee: $48

Wrap Skirt: Sun. 6/1 12:30pm-2:30pm, Sun. 7/6 12:30pm-2:30pm

2 hour class, Learn to make the simplest, cutest wrap skirt imaginable! No zippers, no measuring, no seams! You'll want to make ten of them! Supplies: 2 1/4 – 2 3/4 (depending on body size) yards of cotton fabric, 3 packages of extra wide double fold bias tape and matching spool of thread. Fee: $24

Pattern Rx: Wed. 4/30 6:30pm-8:30pm

2 hour class, Confused about pattern terminology and how to read a pattern? No sewing in this class, we will focus on reading a pattern and demystifying the world of commercial patterns. Learn about sizing, notches, marking, cutting, and placement. Supplies: Bring one commercial pattern, appropriate fabric for your pattern choice and a matching spool of thread. Fee: $24

Charm Bracelet and Earring Class: Sat. 6/21 11am-1pm
Learn the fundamentals of jewelry making while whipping up your own one of a kind Revamped Vintage Charm Bracelet. And matching earrings. This fun and informative 2 hour class will cover the basics of jewelry making like the difference between head and eye pins, wire wrapping, and how to open and close a jump ring. Class supplies include everything you need to make your charm bracelet and earrings including a giant assortment of vintage beads and charms from the Naughty Secretary Club stash for you to choose from! You will need flat and round nosed pliers as well as wire trimmers for this class. You will be able to buy a set from the instructor on day of class as well for an additional $10. Fee: $40 and includes materials.

The Charm Bracelet Class is taught by Jennifer Perkins, owner of online jewelry store Naughty Secretary Club, Austin Craft Mafia member, host of Craft Lab on HGTV and author of The Naughty Secretary Club: The Working Girls Guide to Handmade Jewelry.

Fabric Jewelry Class: Thurs. 6/19 6:30pm-8:30pm
And you thought fabric was just for sewing, oh no it is for jewelry making too. In this class we will talk about ways to use fabric in jewelry design. Each student will be able to make a ring, pony tail holder and two different bracelets! We will learn how to use a button covering kit, make a fabric quilting yo-yo and ribbon wrap a bangle bracelet. Not to mention lots of discussion throughout about incorporating in unusual elements like fabric into your jewelry design. Fee: $40 and includes materials

Collage Cuties Class: Tues. 6/17 6:30pm-8:30pm
Love what you see on the scrap booking aisle, but don't care a thing about it? Incorporate all the fun papers into your jewelry! In this class you will make a bangle bracelet, large disc earrings and necklace using paper and decoupage medium. Learn to look at pictures in magazines, junk mail, wrapping paper and more in a whole new way. Feel free to bring any paper you would like to class, but Jen will also bring a large stash of her collage curios for you to choose from as well as jewelry supplies and decoupage medium. Fee is $40.

Private Lessons: Private Sewing Lessons are available by appointment. Fee: $20/hourly
