Classes fill up fast, so prepayment for classes is required within 48 hours of reserving a space in order to hold your spot for you. When you reserve a space, an invoice will be emailed to you and payment can be made safely and easily through PayPal. Cancellation of a paid class reservation must be made 72 hours before the class starts in order to receive a refund.

NEW! Knit Aid 101: Learn to Knit

Keep your cell, mp3 player or pda comfy, with a sweet, knitted cozy! We'll dive right into knitting 101 by learning how to double-strand for a quicker project, calculate how many stitches to use for a project based on measurement, casting-on, the knit stitch and (cross our fingers), binding off!
Fee: $35 plus supplies. Includes a copy of Knit Aid!

2 hour class, Crochet Basics is a class that will cover the fundamentals of crochet from the very beginning.  From tools to techniques Crochet Basics will teach you everything you need to know to start and finish simple projects.  Topics to be covered:  Yarn weight, gauge, swatch-making, primary foundation stitches, and pattern terminology.  This class is for extreme beginners, however ambitious beginners are welcome.

Supplies: Aluminum Crochet hooks – I, J or K (recommended), 1 skein of yarn – bulky or super bulky recommended.  Fee: $30 
kiddos welcome, ages 10 to adult

Private Lessons: Private Knitting & Crochet Lessons are available by appointment. Fee: $20/hourly
