She taught herself knitting about 5 years ago and haven't put it down since.  Elizabeth loves teaching folks all the crafty things she has come to love!

Liza Feldkamp
Liza has been an art teacher in public schools since 1999, and a maker since her childhood.  She feels that the creative urge is to humans as carbon dioxide is to the respiratory system.  One breathes in,processes, and must exhale. Liza”s philosophy on life is, Experience and respond! I may drown in laundry, but I’ll never suffocate on unspent creative impulse!  Although Liza enjoys teaching urban youth the basics of drawing and art theory, she loves cultivating talent in crafters of all ages.  Having enjoyed world travel and study abroad, she is thankful to now find herself in awesome Austin, Texas.  She is also appreciative of her husband, who occasionally lets her paint for twelve hours on end while he bonds with their three-year-old son.  When you see her, she will be smiling.
